Mark House, a venerable ancestral residence with a rich history spanning 50 years and boasting over 8000 square feet,

has evolved and grown organically over time.

Our proposed design pays homage to this legacy by delicately resting upon the plinth of the existing residence. In a spirit of sustainable repurposing, we aim to breathe new life into both materials and spaces, seamlessly integrating the old with the new.

Mark House's transformation is not just about creating a new structure; it's a narrative of preserving the essence of the past while embracing the possibilities of the future. With a commitment to sustainability and respect for the heritage embedded in every brick and beam, the proposed design seeks to weave a seamless tapestry that spans generations.

We have, along with summer rain architects, assigned with the task to redesign along the same layout to open up and size down the residence for the current home owners.

This is a narrative of preservation and renewal. The proposed design is an ode to the past, a celebration of the enduring spirit that resides within the old walls.

As we reimagine the spaces, we honor the history etched in every nook and cranny, ensuring that Mark House continues to be a living legacy for generations to come.
